An emergency meeting of the College of Science Council
The College of Science Council held an emergency meeting this morning, Saturday, August 19, 2023, headed by the Dean and in the presence of the College’s Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, the heads of scientific departments, the head of the Study and Examinations Department, the College’s Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, and the head of the Documentation and Information Department.
The council inspected, through a tour conducted by the dean and members of the council before the meeting, all the departments that were subjected to some minor damage. Thank God, after that the work session began.
The meeting discussed the current situation of the university and the college, how to work on completing the remaining final exams for this year, which last for three days, how to preserve the results and answer sheets for the exams that were completed, and coordination with the college’s teaching staff through department heads and employees through the Administrative Affairs Department to receive immediate instructions. Some also supervised Council members on the maintenance that began today in the Chemistry Department.
The Council hopes that our students in the College of Science and in the preparatory stage should review the official pages of the college daily, through which the start of exams and studies will be announced after coordination with the university presidency.
We wish safety for everyone and security and safety for our country, Libya.
